The Velocity Ford Bronco rides on its 35” tires, but standard power-retractable side steps make it easy for anyone to climb into the cab. These side steps automatically lower when the door is opened and then retract once the door is closed.

Using the Holley Mid-Mount Accessory Drive system makes it easier to fit the modern LT1 V8 into the K5 Blazer’s classic engine bay. The bracketless design allows for a more compact placement of accessory drive components such as the alternator, power steering pump, and a/c compressor, simplifing service and maintenance items such as replacing the serpentine belt. An added benefit of this system is that it reduces visual clutter under the hood.

The Velocity Exclusive Performance Exhaust is custom made for the Chevrolet K5 Blazer to get maximum performance from the GM Gen V 6.2L LT1 V8. This stainless steel exhaust system optimizes exhaust flow, while Borla mufflers give the Blazer a rumbling exhaust note from the single 3” tailpipe.

To match the added performance and handling of the engine and chassis, the Velocity Chevrolet K5 Blazer upgrades to a Wilwood big brake kit. While the original brakes used drum brakes, this Wilwood kit adds four-wheel disc brakes. The truck also upgrades to six-piston calipers up front and four-piston calipers at the rear, and the Wilwood master cylinder and prop valve provide improved stopping power.

Compared to the original truck, the Velocity Chevrolet K5 Blazer upgrades the entire suspension system for optimal safety and performance. The leaf springs are gone and replaced with adjustable coil springs at all four corners, and the front and rear axles have four-link setups and sway bars. With this setup, the Velocity K5 Blazer offers improved handling, enhanced adjustability, and superior off-road capability.

Front Axle: New Dana 44” with 4.56:1 US Gear ring and pinion, chromoly axles, and Warn premium locking hubs.

Rear Axle: New Dana 60” with similar specs, including Trac-Loc and chromoly axles.

These modified K5 Blazers are fitted with the Velocity Exclusive Aluminum Fuel Tank. This 15-gallon fuel tank uses a GM-style 58 psi fuel pump with a cylinder-style fuel level sender for increased accuracy. The tank is powder coated with a satin black finish and uses stainless steel lines.

Designed and produced in-house, this center console design flows seamlessly into the dash. Power window switches, your twin sticks, and a wireless phone charge fit perfectly in place.
